ACTS: Then and Now
(10 Questions Every Church Must Answer)
This summer, Lake Bible Church is taking a fresh look at the book of Acts through a series called Acts: Then and Now: 10 Questions Every Church Must Answer. The early church was not perfect, but it was clear about its mission, devoted to the right priorities, and committed to following Jesus together. As we study Acts, we will ask important questions about who we are, why we exist, what matters most, and what kind of church God is calling us to become.
This is more than a Bible study. It is an opportunity for our church family to learn, discuss, pray, and seek God’s direction together. We are not trying to copy every detail of the first-century church, but we do want to discover the timeless principles that made the early church effective. By looking back at where the church began, we can gain clarity about where Lake Bible Church should go next and how we can better fulfill God’s mission in our community.
